Our First Year in Business: Lessons Learned

A year in business teaches you things that no course, book, or mentor fully prepares you for. Looking back on Duraisamy Solutions's first year, there is so much we are grateful for — and so much we have learned the hard way.

The biggest lesson: community relationships matter more than any marketing budget. Our most valuable customers came through word of mouth from the Tamil community. Invest in those relationships first. Every review, every referral, every customer who tells their neighbour about you — that is your most powerful growth engine. We are deeply grateful to every customer who has been part of our first year.
