We Are Closed on Diwali — Here Is Why It Matters
Every year we close on Diwali. It is a small decision, but it reflects something we deeply believe about business, culture, and family.
Every October, Raghunathan Centre closes on Diwali. Not because we have to — but because we believe businesses that serve the Tamil community should honour the occasions that matter most to that community.
Diwali is a time for family, for lights, for celebration, and for gratitude. Our staff deserve to spend that evening with their families without worrying about work. Our customers are not looking for services on Diwali night — they are celebrating too. Closing for Diwali is our small way of saying: we are a Tamil business, and we live by Tamil values. We will see you the next morning, well-rested and grateful.
