Education is the foundation of everything the Tamil Canadian community has built in this country. The Tamil diaspora's investment in education — the Saturday schools, the scholarship funds, the mentorship programmes — is one of its most remarkable characteristics. At Sathya's South Indian Kitchen, we want to contribute to that legacy.
This year we were honoured to sponsor the 2025 Tamil Youth Scholarship, awarded annually to two exceptional Tamil Canadian students pursuing post-secondary education. The recipients this year are pursuing degrees in medicine and engineering — exactly the kind of excellence we are proud to support. Congratulations to both winners.
