A Complete Guide to OSAP for Tamil Students
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) provides grants and loans to eligible students enrolled in college or university. The amount you receive depends on your family income, your tuition costs, and whether you live at home or away. Many students from middle and lower income families receive primarily grants, which do not need to be repaid.
To be eligible, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person; enrolled at an approved Ontario institution; and registered for at least 60% of a full course load (40% if you have a disability). Apply at ontario.ca/osap before June 30th for a September start. Keep your application up to date if your family income changes mid-year.
