Tamil Canadian Professional Network Launches Mentorship Programme
Bridging Experience and Ambition
The Tamil Canadian community is home to some of Canada's most accomplished professionals — doctors, engineers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and executives who have built remarkable careers over decades. At the same time, new waves of Tamil immigrants arrive each year, talented and ambitious but often unfamiliar with Canadian workplace norms, networking culture, and career pathways.
About the Programme
Launched in partnership with Tamil Canadians and the Tamil Canadian Business Association (TCBA), the 2026 cohort will match 50 mentees with experienced Tamil Canadian professionals across these sectors:
- Healthcare & Medicine
- Law & Immigration
- Technology & Engineering
- Finance & Accounting
- Entrepreneurship & Small Business
- Government & Public Service
What Mentees Receive
- Six months of one-on-one mentorship sessions
- Access to the TCPA professional network and exclusive events
- Resume and LinkedIn profile review
- Mock interviews with industry professionals
How to Apply
Applications for the 2026 cohort are open until January 31st. To apply as a mentee or volunteer as a mentor, contact us through the Tamil Canadians platform. Priority will be given to newcomers who have arrived in Canada within the past three years.
